I was born and raised in the northern region of Iran and I have studied Computer Science and currently am working as a software engineer. I grow up by the Caspian Sea with its beautiful landscapes, old deep green forest, and infinite rice fields, all surrounded by high mountains guarding its unique beauty. I was always inspired by nature and loved being outdoor endlessly. The walks on the sandy beaches of the Caspian Sea, watching the glamorous story of sunset and sunrise for hours, getting lost in the deep beauty of the forest and dreaming high in the blue sky sums up how I grew up and what nature means to me.
In 2011 I moved to Vancouver. Beautiful British Columbia has the most extraordinary landscapes, seascapes and deep green forests. The taiga forest with evergreen trees standing tall and proud all year round always stunned me. I often find myself lost in admiration of the nature here. The fog, the rain, the sea, the trees and the forest to me are the most elegant characters of this never-ending beauty all year round. I truly believe that the nature is the truest love story.
As for my reverence for nature and love of the outdoors , I have always wanted to capture the moment by taking many photos. I always wanted to paint what I see and describe how I see it. Painting and drawing was my life long hobby. A few years back I started to take painting more seriously, so I began to learn painting with acrylic. In 2017, I started painting with watercolor and I instantly fell in love with it. I felt comfortable with using watercolor on paper. Since then I mainly use watercolor to paint.
All my inspirations come from nature and my work is about the feeling of having been there and recapturing the experience. It is about fresh air and freedom; re-awakening a feeling and the memory of a place. My goal is to captivate my viewers by the same emotion and profound experience that I had from a place.
So far it's been an overwhelming and divine experience and I see myself at the beginning a long journey as I am still learning to master this beautiful art.
I mostly use watercolor. I truly believe there is a hidden healing power in the work of watercolor for both the artist and the viewers.
My inspiration comes from the nature; clouds, oceans, trees , fogs, rain, the sunset and the sunrise. I love to sit in the nature and paint and paint and paint from dawn to dusk!
